All journalists who wish to attend the World Cup and have the option of using the press facilities as well as entering the zone should register for the event. The accreditation form is available at the World Cup's official web page.Facilities
Journalists attending the World Cup will receive special World Cup card, which should be worn to gain admission to the Press Centre. The Centre will have access to the wifi internet, electricity plugs (mind the different plugs that are used in middle Europe - you may wish to bring your own changer), there will also be free water for journalists. We want to make sure that media people can access the up-to-date information from the tournament. The easiest way for you to get all the news is to provide email address - we will send any press releases and game results and statistics to any journalist, who wish so. Information about teams, tournament newsletters and local maps will be also available in the Press Centre. Photojournalists and photographers
Those who wish to access area other than those for spectators must wear special bib - those will be given away by the Organizing Committee. Official photographs will be available on the World Cup web page throughout the tournament. Press Conferences
Two press conferences of the Organizing Committee are scheduled in advance, they will take place on June 17, afternoon and after the final match on June 27, 2009. We will confirm the exact time as well as any other press conferences later on.
