The SK Slavia Praha Sport Centre is one of the biggest sporting areas in Prague. It is located in Prague 10 district in Vladivostocká street about 20 mins from the Prague centre. It has a facility for lacrosse, football, rugby, athletics, field hockey, handball, beach voleyball, voleyball, tennis etc. Slavia is one of the most traditional Czech sport clubs. Their football, ice-hockey and field hockey teams are usually ranked in top positions in the highest Czech leagues with many Czech nationals in their squads. The venue is also home to the Slavia lacrosse club, which won the Czech National Women’s League twice. There are two natural grass fields sized according to IFWLA rules (A, B), one more natural grass field intended for warm-ups (E). Two turf fields (C, D) can be used for warm-ups too, the Prague Cup tournament will be played on these two fields. You can find outside swimming pools on the grounds, ice hockey arena, gyms and many more sport facilities. Recently, a new state-of-the-art football stadium was opened. The SK Slavia Praha Sport Centre hosts a lot of international tournaments in all kinds of sports. The traditional men’s and women‘s Prague Cup lacrosse tournament has been organised at Slavia since 1998. The European Lacrosse Championship was succesfully held at Slavia in 2004. There are several good restaurants and cafés within 5 minutes walk from the venue. A large supermarket and shopping centre in walking distance. Here is a very good connection to the city centre by public transport. SK Slavia Sport Centre is easily accesible by public transportation.
