Official FIL/IFWLA women’s lacrosse rules will be followed.

Only IFWLA approved crosses can be used at the tournament. You can find the updated list of the IFWLA approved crosses at www.womenslacrosse.org. Please note that not only the stick but also the type of the stringing of the stick needs to be legal. Make sure your team is properly equipped.

Susie Ganzenmuller, FIL Chair of Women's Rules, will e-mail an up-dated and final list of approved sticks including pictures of pockets directly to all national bodies and teams on March 1, 2009. A complete list of the sticks that each player will use during the event shall be sent back to Susie Ganzenmuller on susieganz(at)comcast.net by May 1, 2009. This should contain the name of both the manufacturer and stick model.
